What is the total advance time in minutes for a full 360* revolution on these single cycle timers? The time it takes to go from the 12 o'clock position back to the 12 o'clock position. Was it 30 minutes? 36? 40? Any service excerpts?

Here is a cycle concept with a 30 minute 360* revolution timer. Each dash represents 30 seconds passed.

Fill = 6 minutes

Agitate = 10 minutes

Pause = 30 seconds

Spin = 2 minutes

Spray = 1 minute

Spin =  2 minutes

Spray = 1  minute

Spin = 4 minutes

Advance to off  = 30 seconds

Two Programmed Cycle Variants:

Although, such upper end models would do best having pre-wash and pre-soak options built into the single main wash cycle timer.

A 60/64/66 minute timer would be ideal for soak and prewash prior to the main wash cycle.

For those wondering programmed temps are as follows:

Heavy Duty = hot/warm

Normal = warm/warm

Sheets = hot/cold

Casuals = warm/cold

Delicate = cold/cold

Knits = cold/warm

Yes, the filter flo and Hotpoint Rim-Flo line.

I love single cycle timers. I wish more of them sold.

The concept timers I imagine can work with a spin-drain direct drive, Maytag dependable care or GE filter flo.

Is there a cycle sequence or improvement you'd like to see Jerome?

Jerome, I made a cycle for a GE filter flo though it might need an extra two minutes for the fill time- filter flos take around 7 minutes to fill vs 5 on average. Fill flume angled into the tub for 100% inward basket spray delivery. This cycle can also work for a direct drive.

It takes advantage of a 40 minute timer. To be honest I think this is ideal more or less. Lots of symmetry in the cycle including a 1 minute off period after the 30 second to off advance after the final spin which would be highlighted so on the control facia, 30 seconds until the timer contact engages from the off decal period, 30 seconds latter the fill contacts would engage, 1 minute latter the dial would point to the "start cycle" decal if the timer motor was made to advance continuously through the off period which it wouldn't of course in normal operation.

So anyways, the cycle:

Fill 6 minutes

Agitate 15 minutes

Pause 30 seconds

Spin 2 minutes

Spray Cold (cool down) 1 minute

Spin 2 minutes

Spray select 1 minute

Spin 2 minutes

Spray select 1 minute

Spin 6 minutes

Advance to off 30 seconds
