GE/Hotpoint Part Identification

I found this in a box of capacitors I bought. It is some kind of replacement part but I could not find this specific number. I am thinking it might be a dishwasher timer as I found something in a similar box with a different part number and it was a timer. Any info will be appreciated! Thanks!

FU31X doesn’t ring a bell as a GE/Hotpoint appliance catalog item number (WH for washers, WE for dryers, etc.). May be electronics related, especially if it came in a box of caps?

Any numbers on the item in question? 31X also doesn’t align to timers, AFAIK.

GE-HP Part

Indeed this is not for a major appliance but more likely for GE electronics like TV-Radio etc.

 

A picture of the actual part might be useful in identifying what it is for.
