GE Medical systems

i was walking out of the hospital this evening when i couldn't help but notice the ge
logo was on the side of a machine it said ge medical systems it didn't looks like a cleaning machine anybody have any clues?

GE is a major player in medical diagnostic testing machines. They make CT scanners, MRI machines, Ultrasound machines.

Most notable was that somewhat recently Jeff Immelt (Obama's job czar) moved the entire GE Medical division out of the US to China. Hundreds of jobs went with it.
He smugly said "Well, our headcount is the same so no jobs were lost". Hmm, what about those who didn't want to go live in China? And what about those who made the machines here in the U.S.? I'm sure they weren't offered positions in China.

...to increase GE profitability, and not to pay the tax on medical devices in whatever the real name of the bill that is popularly called "Obamacare."

When I heard 'no jobs were lost' I thought "What?"

And this guy is the jobs Czar for the administration? What?

Oh well.

GE does really awesome stuff here. And, by the way, I know a guy who lost a job of > 20 years of skilled manufacturing because of this.
