Looks like it was originally the top part of a built in oven or a free standing range.

They took the 2 oven function and temp rotary controls out but the 4 surface unit controls was apparently too much work to remove.
Good For Parts
If you are fixing or restoring a 70s GE Cooking Center, otherwise not worth much.
