Hi everyone, I recently acquired an old KitchenAid superba mod# 4kudA220T0

It is in decent shape, and I have ordered a few parts that I want to replace as a precautionary measure however there’s one part that’s broken that I can’t seem to find and I’m not sure if it’s even necessary for it to be fully intact . The lower baffle part no 4167295 … I can’t seem to find one anywhere, unless someone on here has one they’d be willing to sell . but my question is does it actually seal the bottom portion of the dishwasher? I was almost going to make something of a similar shape out of stainless . Also what’s the best way to coat these rust spots so they don’t get any worse

It's an Architect Series model (KUDA vs. KUDS) ... the 6" control panel height is to match a standard kitchen drawer face.
Interesting …… so I’ve started to dig into it and replace the pump seal as a precaution. The only thing I can’t figure out is how to cover the 2 rust spots in the tub

I like using 3M marine sealant get the white stuff and just coat the rusty area after you’ve cleaned it and dried it as much as possible.

Which 3m marine sealant do you recommend? I know 3m makes many different marine sealants .. also how good doesPLASTI dip re rack at hold up when repairing rusty racks
