I don't think I've ever seen that dishwasher before.
Is that a portable range?
I wonder if that is a two speed dish smasher. It would seem like GE would broadcast that on the control panel, but those buttons are like on the two speed machine.

The dishwasher appears to be a 1969 Model SD400E. Tom, no mention of 2-speeds.

Lawrence, thank you very much. I think this really is the TOL. If there's one above this, I'd love to know what the feature set is if you have the information. Would that higher model be a Versatronic? Thank you in advance.
I remember the triple detergent dispenser and the aerated china and crystal cycle. That was what I meant with the 2 speeds like WP called it. Was it only the TOL model that had the automatic Rinse Glo that did not need manual setting? I remember the Versatronic model that had the little dials to increase or decrease the wash and dry time and something else that I don't remember. I think it had three detergent dispensers, maybe.
The Versatronic model was apparently introduced in 1970. The 1969 literature shows the one shown here to be TOL. Numbers changed in 1970; Versatronic was GGSD850L, there was a 4-cycle model (GGSD650L); two 3-cycle models (GGSD450L and GGSD270L); and a "Basic" model (GGSD250L).

My Aunt had that exact range in her house, it was called a GE Mark 27 drop in with the P7 automatic oven cleaning. It was 27" wide and it sat on a short base cabinet, hers had a drawer in the cabinet. Her house was built in 1966 and this was the range her builder gave her. In the mid 80's the self cleaning stopped working and she had to replace it, she replaced it with another GE 27" drop in which now was called a Spacemaker. The new range was almond and had the burner knobs in the front, 2 on the left side, 2 on the right, the original range had the push buttons across the back. She did a lot of cooking on those ranges, amazing only 1 large burner and they were a family of 6.
It says 2 Speed on the console.
