GE Verstronic Washer & Dryer Set in Harvest Gold, 1967

Here are pics of the 1967 GE Versatronic Washer and Dryer set that I have, vintage 1967. I personally knew the original owners of this set. The man told me he bought them at the local Goodyear outlet store in 1967 for his wife and that they were the TOL models. The original Versatronic clutch went bad after about 4 yrs of use and when he went to fix it himself he said the repair people talked him out of using the original clutch and sold him a one speed clutch instead! Sigh!! He didnt keep the original clutch!! Double Sigh!!! I was able to aquire them last year when he moved to assited living. They both work perfectly, and Im still on my quest for an original clutch........ BTW, if anyone is interested this set is up for sale, you can contact me if there is any interest. They are a wonderful rare set, but I have so many wonderful rare sets now, I just cant keep everything! And Harvest Gold is not one of my favorite colors......alas.............
