Omg, I love that!!! And it would go perfectly with my 1939 GE stove.... Why is all the good stuff always so far away..? On a lighter note though, it looks a bit small inside, even for the time. Is it just an effect of the photos, or is the interior really that much smaller than a regular fridge?

@VK:  My impression of the wall mount fridges is the same.  They don't seem to offer much storage space.  I think I have seen pictures of these units in larger versions with more doors though.

 

I still love the concept and if I had the right application would jump on this excellent deal, even with the shipping costs I'd be looking at.

I also have a GE WR that needs to go here in Maryland if thats any closer to anyone that wants one. This one is an original 1955 model and does not work, it is complete and in good shape. It would be great for parts or to fix. Contact me if interested otherwise the next time I have it move it it gets scraped.

Frank Sinatra had one of these in his home. I remember seeing it in an Edward R. Murrow interview done in 1956. Here is a brief description I found on the web:
