Found some specs on ge's new updated top load washers, it looks like a gtw750 basically, it does say "direct drive mechanism" i wonder if they are finally going away from the god aweful noisy belt drive similar to the vmw. I read an article ge was coming out with an "industry leading" top load and new dryer platform in 2019. I wouldn't call this industry leading.....
