OK,

Now HERE'S something off topic!

Did you ever get a gift card that you'd never use in a month of Sundays? But, either there was no way to return it for cash, or you couldn't give it back because the giver would be insulted?

Enter Chuckies Gift Card Swap Shop!

Here's what I'm proposing:

Enter a list of giftcards and amounts you have, then a list of giftcards you'd like. The 'like" list could be as general as "big box stores" so you wouldn't have to type them all in... if you shop at or if some would be a would-shop-at-if-you-had-a-gift-card store. Or, don't put in any "like" list at all and see what offers ome in!

Each party would pay for the shipping to the other party, so it's even!

Whaddya think? I'll start it off.

What I have:
Starbucks: $10 and $25
Dunkin Donuts. I have $115 worth, starting at $5 cards.
Amazon.com $25 certificate

What I'd like?
Homo Depot
BLowe's
Wal-Mart
Price Chopper
or, suggest something else!

$115 at Dunken donughts?????

My gawd... What a gift, LoL...

I always have re-gifted unwanted gift cards.. Eaisest re-gift item out there

I always did the same thing, now people just give me cash at my request so I can buy new toys(duncan miller, vacuums, vintage appliances) on ebay instead, or I buy stuff I want and take it and say it cost this much just give me the money and wrap it up for me. It may seem wrong but I am so picky it is easiest for everyone involved that I am happy

I should explain. I'm a school bus driver and parents routinely give us Christmas gifts and end of the year gifts. DD was in high form this year, it seems. I guess I'll have to spread the word a little stronger, though still innocently, that I don't drink coffee!

Hey Chuck, I did re-gift some things. My UPS driver got a Starbucks card I had for a year and the guy who delivers the Sunday Globe got movie passes that were that old or older!

I still have Cold Stone Creamery certs from 2 years ago! It's not that I don't want to use them... I forget about them, and don't go for iced cream that often! Good thing there's no expiration on gift cards or certs in MA!!!

Gift Cards

You may all want to check to see if there is an expiration on these cards first. Some cards that are not used for a few years have a service fee deducted from them. This has happened to a few friends of mine.
