I still have my old Hotpoint t l 9605 electronic deluxe with the spiralator agitator, I use it every day and the great thing about this machine is to make sure a full load goes in. This ensures evenly balanced spin cycles, a problem I had when I 1st got the machine was the dreaded unbalanced spin cycles due to my old front loader. Again a hotpoint liberator that when it was due to go into a spin, the drum would just remain stationary while draining. Then all of a sudden the drum would just whizz off into a very violent erratic hellish spin cycle, with out revolving slow 1st to distribute the cloths.
Over time the machine damaged the kitchen floor and had to be replaced, so did the machine so now with a new kitchen floor I dont have my heart in my mouth when I hear that very familiar CLANG of the break lifting off on my T L
It gets the clothes clean better than a f l, its a hot and cold fill. but the bug bear is I am only plumbed in for a cold fill only, and the spin speed is fast 1050 revs on fast and 500 on slow spin
I use a wash day product called ariel liquid tabs and lenor fabric softner.
