Well here's something I've never seen.
Gold trimmed Kelvinator stove, weird : London Ontario.

They were doing, in the mid 60s, a "decorate your refrigerator" motif--the pic has been on here a time or two (the images that stick out from the magazine ad are a mini-fridge painted like a playing card and a side-by-side Foodarama in this gold/white motif. Ug-lee but "of the time". Interesting, though; this seems to be a Canadian manufactured stove, as the Kelvinator US ones at that time had the burner controls at the bottom rear of the cooktop.

I dunno.. but I just saw it again on FB MP and it's now free.
A friend in Baltimore had a townhouse with Tappan appliances in the kitchen and the oven and refrigerator doors had that gold trim on them. I had seen it in magazine ads before I ever saw it in a kitchen.
