Thanks to Hans and Terry Latz
I love Chicken a la king, and was hoping to find a really easy--aka lazy-- way to make it, and last year I thought I had found the answer when Terry posted a stew recipe that I knew I could adapt using chicken and chicken stock instead of tomato juice, with a few other substitutions as well. The other day, I thought about it again, but knew it would be a challenge to find it. Ironically, it was here in the current thread all along.
Well, I searched and searched for Terry and crockpot, etc in the Sercholator, but with no luck, then finally I found it. So here's the voice of Terry to warm our hearts again:

Glad you liked it Steve. That was the recipe that Hans posted back a while. The one I have used for years is the same only that it called for the fresh mushrooms. It was called French Oven Stew. Now you can really impress your guest! LOL

Ah Terry! I wonder what you're cooking up in Heaven tonight.
