After not having a working oven since January, I finally found a new oven to replace my 25 year-old Roper.
I went to "Pacific Sales" on 11/22 and found this KitchenAid "Superba" 24" convection oven for 60% off the original retail price.
It was a "floor model" at a store in Arizona that closed. Only one small flaw on the inner door-nothing else.
Not the most recent model but for $806 instead of $2200 I JUMPED on it!
Model KEBC247 - both ovens self-cleaning, convection and temp probe in upper oven.
So far, I'm LOVING it!
I DO know that some have had issues with the self-cleaning cycle causing the thermal fuse to "blow" but I think it has a lot to do with the oven installation and the cabinet.
I bought an extended warranty because of this so I'll keep my fingers crossed the first time I use the cleaning cycle!

Same Size

It's a "trick of the camera" - both ovens are the same size (both doors the same height).

This oven in not a "current" model which is why I got it for 60% off the retail price.

I'm THRILLED because it is the oven I truly wanted but couldn't justify paying over $2k for!

I'll see how it does with my standing beef rib roast (prime rib) on New Year's Day!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Just a

quick reminder...........please heed the suggestion in the Use and Care guide; to NOT use foil or other types of liners on the floor of the ovens. Doing so will result in permanent damage to the porcelain.

Enjoy you oven!
