Totally cool design! That would be the perfect mate to a Flair range! I wonder why fridges aren't built like that anymore, that looks very useful. Too bad it's all the way on the West coast. I'd love to have a fridge like that!

There wasn't probably too many of them sold in their time either. More high end for folks living in LITB or Father Knows best type homes, not the Roseannes, Wonder Years, or Malcolm in the Middle type middle class houses.

You're right Bob, Mike has a beautiful turquoise one of these and I believe Jimmy might still have his as well. I think John Lefever has one up at the WV house.

Yes, my Americana is in my kitchen. Made a fresh tray of ice last night with it (auto fill ice tray service!).

It is a very cool piece, but boy is it heavy! Thanks to Jimmy and Harvest Gold for helping me score that one back in 2003.

And for its weight, it has a suprisingly small capacity in the refrigerated food section. Very shallow. I remember their ads for this and they would show one of their short belt drive blenders sitting on that little bit of counter.
