I figured it's time again for less talk and more ACTION, so I thought I'd post about a weekend event! Glenn drove out today, and we did a mini fix-in of sorts, working on one of my machines that had been sitting for a few months due to an oil leak. The repair process itself went smoothly (other than wrestling with that cross-brace to try and get it back on, definitely something I could not have done alone), and it has assumed its rightful place in the Studio, once again! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that all is well.

Here's a little teaser...this should be an easy one ;-)

From what I can tell of it it could be that Unimatic that Robert gave him for his B-day a year or so ago. I got a mind like a steel trap....or so I am told all the time.

Reinstalling the cross-brace is real easy Austin, once you get the hang of it. The trick is to use two hands and one foot, I'll show you sometime.

Oil leak and cross brace - that narrows the possibilities down considerably! Hope everything works out well for you and Glenn. We don't want to hear the word 'stitches' unless it refers to laughing.

And it was *my* knee.

Two weeks therapy starts tomorrow.... (kidding!)

Anyways ... had a grand time. Austin, Venus, Tom & Hayley, kitties, Aquastar, delivery of a pink pig, checking out the offerings @ Lowe's and dissing POSs, plugging a "hemorrhage," playtime with the GE combo, Penta Vane, Penta Swirl, Double-Duty Surgilator, straight-vane FilterFlo. Who could ask for fun on a Saturday?

YAY!

Here's the Frigidaire WO-65-2, connected and washing once again after a 3-month absence! I'll be monitoring it closely for leaks in the coming days.

Detergent for this load

Breeze, made in Trinidad. One of the many detergents I picked up while on vacation in Grand Cayman, July 2005.

Breeze loaded in the circulator column. I thought it was going to make one hell of a suds cake, but...check out the next picture.
