has it been struggling to tumble and/or making a sparking noise for a while then?

I'm tempted to offer to take the WM53 off your hands since your not very far from me. See what it needs doing.

I really don't have the room but I'm sure I could manage to fit it in the cupboard, anything's better than seeing it go to the scrap heap over a simple fault like brushes
