Hi everyone. I've got an issue - maybe someone out there can point me in the right direction.

A friend of mine has one of those little Haier dishwashers - not the teeny tiny one, but the one with casters that sits on the floor (HDT18PA).

Recently, the machine has begin to act strangely - in the middle of the cycle, it'll act like it's going to pump out all the water and start a new cycle, but the pump runs and runs and runs and water just sort of dribbles out. then it gets "stuck" and beeps incessantly, and almost all of the lights on the front panel flash.

Haier's solution was to tilt the machine back on a 45 degree angle. Needless to say, its no fun to tilt a washer loaded with dishes and dirty water backwards when its on a tile floor with casters.

My thoughts here are that there might be some kind of water level sensor thats gone bad, or that the pump is malfunctioning. There are no suds in the machine, and the drain grilles are clean and clear.

Does anyone out there have any experience with this little machine? Maybe someone has some ideas where I can get a service manual, or is there some kinda dishwashers message board I could check?

Thanks in advance!
