Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Hi Guys. Check out the posting in Imperial about the problems with Candy/Hoover front loaders exploding in Germany. I wonder if that happens when the tub bearings finally give out.

While the other boys went out thrifting around town, Roger and I stayed behind to do some washer-repair.  The 69 GE was spinning out water too fast and running a bit hot so checked and replaced the shoes on the clutch and tested and replaced the motor relay coil.  It's running like a new washer now!

For our New Years Eve dinner, we broke with our reclusive dining traditions and went out!
Malara's Italian Restaurant usually makes handmade tortellini and white sauce for their Saturday special but they said they'd make it for us when I called - it was outstanding as always!  We had a very nice dinner and it was a lot of fun to venture out into the cold and save Terry hours of work in the kitchen!  :-)

Thanks again Greg for the wonderful time! Always a great host.

I am happy to have met several of the members and friends, Ben, Dan, John, and Roger. And to have seen all the wonderful faces of the others again, including Pat, Terry, Greg, and Diana.

Too bad I missed getting to meat Chromacolor. Another time I am sure!

Thanks again for the great food, vacuums and vacuum work, as well as the everlasting memories of a fun time!

I look forward to seeing everyone again in the future, too!

Oh, Omaha!

Great weekend everyone! I had a fabulous time catching up with old friends and making new ones. I'll share a few photos snapped throughout the weekend.

First up: when Greg got the 1972 Kenmore I said to him, "are you sure you want to keep that one?"

It is quite stunning in person. Minty fresh! Gotta love the sex light.

Anyone here who has heard a true 60's tube or 70's transistor Marantz can attest to how cool these amps are. This 2270 definitely delivered and provided the amplification for a fantastic night Wednesday evening.

Enjoying some Glee and clean Centura in the KitchenAid!
