and about to enjoy a late dessert….show is near conclusion and we're just listening to a lot of fireworks going off already, before 10PM.

We both have bad colds and are staying in, but tonight instead of hot tea I made hot brick toddies. It's New Year's Eve, after all.

A most Happy New Year to everyone. I am 65 today...65!...it looks like a big number because it is a big number. I am spending the day exactly the way I want, telephone ringers turned off and no company. My 2 Springers are all the company I need today. Like Frieda Claxton (the lady with the oak tree from the Golden Girls) told Rose..."got no use for people, never have." I'm burned out from too many holiday parties.
