My birthday was wonderful! I offered a lunch at home to my family and closest friends.
As I was busy cooking, i didn't take any pictures, but two of my friends brought their cameras and took dozens of them. As soon as they send me those pictures, I'm going to post some.

Preparing sukiaki using the Electrolux portable induction cooktop. This cooktop is amazing! I'll never cook with gas again in my life. It's more powerful than a commercial gas burner.

This is my friend, neighbor, and student Monalisa. She's also my "beta-tester" when I wake up in the middle of the night and want to make a little snack like home made noodles or a home made lasagna. I just have to wake her up and she comes to my apartment to eat with me.
A few days before this day, we ate home made noodles (made just in time) at midnight.
How's the chef's uniform called in English? In Portuguese it has an special definition: "Dolma". Whatever... the Prada (that thing) fits perfect but it makes me look much "wider and more comfortable" than I really am. Gosh! my stomach looks like an airbag with black buttons.
