Yes... 29 today (18th). Where does the time go, as is often said?
My present? Well, a new hard disk for my Apple Mac computer! LOL I’m using the PC at the moment, but I’ve got a new hard disk for the Mac, whose old one was rather noisy anyway. The PC I am currently using has the same Western Digital hard disks in it.
For those who like computers, like me, the new hard disk is a Western Digital Raptor, which spins at... wait for it... 10,000rpm! Most consumer hard disks spin at anything between 5,400rpm and 7,200rpm, though usually just the latter these days. It’s a very fast hard disk compared with others on the market, though it is rather more expensive.
I may get something else – perhaps a gadget of some kind!
Appliance update: everything’s going very well. All Mieles fully operational! LOL

Twenty-nine is a very good age! Indeed New York and London society is full of women who have been twenty-nine by their own free will for years now. Indeed one of my best girlfriends has been twenty-nine ever since she was thirty-five, which was many years ago now.

I had a pretty good day at first, though more tired than usual, but I was not too well later on and so had to be put to bed at 7pm, which was not much fun!

Can those who wrote some of the above messages please elaborate on what they mean by things like “All the best wishes for your 19th year of being 29” and the matter of people in their 30s being forever 29.
With my cognitive problems/learning difficulties, I am not equipped to read past much of what I read, either online or in print, unless explained to me.
I sincerely hope I am not being accused of lying.
Please explain here. If not, I will ask you individually via e-mail in the next few days.
