Happy Easter, what's for dinner around the world?

Chuck and Rich: WTF, man. No pasta? *LOL*

Believe it or not, no!!!! If we liked lamb, I'd have done chops Italian style with pasta and, maybe, broccoli. Homemade rosemary/garlic foccacia would have been included without a doubt.

Meanwhile, any time you want to bring any eggplant dip or minty meatballs, don't be shy!!!!

Chuck
p.s.- Earlier this week, I finally admitted that my two fave types of food to cook are Italian and Oriental/Middle Eastern! I like cooking all types, but I seem to gravitate to these two more often than not when looking in the freezer or fridge to see what's available and saying, "what's for dinner tonight?"

Read a land-lording book that recommends that landlords char

Read the Ontario Landlord Tenant Act which forbids deposits of any kind except for first and last months rent in advance. The last month rent with interest when the tenant leaves.
The Ont Landlord Tenant Act which makes it illegal to refuse tenants the right to keep domestic pets of any kind in their apartment.
I could go on but it makes me want to cry. LOL

Grilled chicken, mashed potatoes, fresh asparagus, and lettuce salad.

Jon, Coconut lime cake, sure sounds good. Recipe please!! Like Bob, Greg I would love the one for the potato quiche.

Just finishing the last load of glasses and table linens. Today was linguine with a plain tomato basil sauce, then marinated, butterflied and grilled pork loin with a mashed potato casserole, asparagus with lemon sauce and a roasted beet, carrot and watercress salad. Dessert was coconut layer cake, strawberry shortcake, mixed berry tart and of course cupcakes for the kids. Lots of dishes, glasses and napkins to tend to. But we were 15 at table and as much work as it was and as exhausted as I am, it was a great day. Interesting mix of a crowd - extended family and longtime friends and neighbors. Everything went off with perfect timing, the kids had a ball and if I do say so myself, everything was delicious. Especially that beet, carrot and watercress salad. Gorgeous, colorful and tasty. Thanks to America's Test Kitchen.

And I must confess the desserts were purchased from the SoNo Baking Company. They are pricey, but do an outstanding job

Oh, well, time to starch the last load and get to bed. If my legs and back didn't hurt so much, they would probably fall off...

Mmmm,

It was sooo goood

We had;

Honey Glazed Ham
Green Bean Casserole
Scalloped Potatoes
Creamed Corn
Dinner Rolls
and of course Sweet Tea,
and for desert Egg Custard Pie with a crusty Cinnamon topping.

Anthony, I'm surprised at you!!! Your back & legs must really be bothering you. Glasses go in the dishasher and linens go in the washer. Sounds like ya threw them all together in one load, hopefully the dishwasher and not the washer lol.

Bob - remember that you can save time by washing the dishes and clothes together

Ricky: "Lucy!! There is a shirt button in Mr Littlefield's water glass!"

Lucy: "I can explain that - I found I could save time by washing the dishes and clothes together".

LOL -from the episode "Lucy is on a Schedule"

But there were multiple loads of both you can fit only so many wine glasses at a time since my dishwasher was one of the last "pre tall tub" Kitchen Aid models,

Probably not the most energy efficient, but even the most careful handwashing doesn't give you the same crystal clear results without a lot of work. I do use the shorter "light wash/China setting" so that helps some.
