Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there!

To all of you who still have their Dads, please, please, please show them how much you care. Life it so precious and can be shortened in a second. I wish my Dad was here today so I could say Thank You Dad for being there for me. I lost my Dad in August 1989 and still miss him terribly.
So once again,

Happy Father's Day to all that are here with us and all of those Dads that are no longer with us.

Gary

Gadget Gary said it all..............

Gary my Dad passed away in Nov 2004. Fathers day and his birthday, both continue to be difficult. Thank you, I appreciated your post. Happy Fathers Day to all the Dad's out there. arthur.

And one more sentimental note..........

To my Dear Dad:

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I could walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
Happy Father's Day in Heaven.

Your son,

Gary

Thanks, Toggle - that's very sweet of you!

We had a very nice day yesterday, I arrived home from the VCCC convention around 11 AM so we had most of the day to hang out. We had to work for a little bit, but that went fast. He and our "sitter" (NOT BABYsitter!) made a beautiful card of pictures scanned of him since he was three years old (when he came to live with me) up through last week and he finished, plus a t-shirt with "Worlds Best Dad" that he picked out. It was very nice and we had a fun afternoon and evening, just the two of us.

I hope everyone had a great father's day and enjoyed being with, or remembering, their fathers.

Thanks again!

I have to echo Steve's wish for our very special "dad" in Omaha. Having taught children for 34 years I saw first hand just how important that love is to a child and how sad it is to see it so often missing in their lives today. Terry

Making Memories

I thought of everything that happened to me as a child I didn't like and vowed to make sure it never happened to my own children.
I talked with each of them yesterday and know that nothing I did will ever have been too much or enough. They are wonderful people.
It is not possible to love a child too much.
Thank you, Toggles, for being the "daddy" in this group to all of us. Your strength, chiding and swift support are loved and appreciated.
Love to all father's and to all children.
Kelly
