how beautiful all these pics are!

My favorite "non religious" part of Christmas has always been the lights and decorations. Always so pretty!
Two weeks ago we had a foot of snow, and with the decorations out it looked awesome!
Thanks for sharing all the pics!

I love 'em all!!

Thanks , everyone, for sharing your pics!! I have seen Greg M's lights when I last visited and they look even better(if that's possible) when you see them while standing in the front yard. The glow is so warm and nostalgic!

Ron...Oh Ron. It couldn't get gayer EVEN if it were at my house. LOL!!! Looks fantastic.

Gansky1...I love the tree topper. I would love to find something like that.

Glamwales...What an elegant home. Is it an older house or is it new? I love the fireplace!!!

Thanks everyone so very much for sharing the wonderful pictures. I have really enjoyed them all. There is just something so warm and relaxing about all the lights. Hope to learn how to post pictures one day soon as well.

Calling Glamwales...

What scent is the Yankee candle sitting on the hearth? I will only buy Yankee's because they are the only one's with scent enough for the whole house.

my lights were not on when I took the picture :=(

here's my house during a recent snow. I also have candoliers on every window. They look wonderful at night.

Love seeing everyone elses decorations. It's nice to see snow down there in OK hahaha.. how come we don't have any here.

Glamwales: is that an LCD tv under the tree? With my name on it?

Tulsaguy ; that is a beautiful stonework on your house. There are a couple of houses in this neighborhood somewhat similar and they were built sometime in the late 40's or early 50's is that about the age of your house? There's another one as well that looks to be built of logs from the same era but they aren't real logs

Tulsaguy-I love yor house..I looked at a similar stone work house when i bought this one, but i couldn't add on to it and make it work right.
Love all the pictures

att: tulsaguy ...................

tulsaguy, I love the stone exterior of your house ........ VERY nice ...............

LED Lights Lovers Alert.....

Of all places, CVS has 'em in!!

I didn't see a price....

They also had a big selection of traditional ceramic lights under their house brand!

Love all the lights! I found a few strings of C7s in the attic that I hope to use next year. We have been to busy this year to do very much decorating for the holidays but I did string a few lights on the old place just so the neighbors wouldn`t run us out of the hood! :)

Our Vintage Tree

Here is our vintage tree. Its a Balsom Fir that I planted 12 years ago along with 299 others. My goal was to have our own Christmas trees. You see we like the natural, unpruned trees. Most commercial tree farms prune the trees so that they are perfect and filled in with no spaces. I collect vintage Christmas decorations and want my tree to look natural and vintage. So, to get that look, either I had to go find one in the woods or grow my own. Its paid off and now I will have my own trees for some time to come.

The tree has 51 C-7 lights on vintage, Noma strings with the red and green wire. We use older GE and Westinghouse bulbs along with a few bubblers and aluminum reflectors. Notice that ther isn't any tinsel at the bottom. We have cats and you cat owners know what they do with tinsel. Anyways, enjoy.

Northwest Christmas

I decorated the tree when there was no electricity so it was a thrill to see it light up the dark night the lights came on.

I love mixfinder's home pics in general, because there's always lots of native-inspired, tribal(?) objects, artwork, textiles, and things, and that's something I never see by me....
