Have you ever seen a Braun blender like this one?

That blender jar and assembly also fit the Braun KM32 kitchen center, of which I have two, with the blenders already. I don't have the separate blender motor base but wouldn't want that one because of that horrible horrible crack and nasty looking repair. BTW the model for that blender is KX32. They pop up occasionally on Ebay, very stylish like the KM32 kitchen center/mixer. They are very tall though and won't under the cupboards when on the countertop

The blade assembly is very unusual-are the blades supposed to be bent up and together like what is shown?-almost looks like it was used for a "Will It Blend" episode.the container has a nice METAL base.Something you don't see much of anymore-like the metal bases better than the plastic ones-the jar sits better on a table or counter with less tipping-puts weight at the bottom of the container.

best kitchen machine series ever built

In my not so humble opinion. The blades are meant to be that way.
I have KM-3 and the MX3 blender will also work with it.
Somewhere between the KM-31 and KM-32, something changed in the base so you have to be sure to get the right one.
BRAUN still sells some of these parts, others going back to 1953 (when this series was introduced) as fairly easy to get as NOS on Ebay Germany.
I confess that the coffee grinder does not impress me as much as the blender, but that may be because I tend to rather oily roasts and most Germans used "drier" beans.
