I didn't think compact washers and dryers existed back then. That appears to be from the 50's. I wonder if it was actually made by WP, or from some other company either here or abroad. The full-size WP dryers of that time had the vent in the top corner behind the top-mounted lint screen, whereas the vent on this machine is on the same side, but halfway down. It also has the air intake on the front. If this has a lint screen, it's hidden somewhere, probably in the interior like the later models. It's hard to tell whether or not this is a miniature version of the old WP belt-and-pulley drive dryer. We'd have to see it's innards. I'm also not too sure if this was ever sold in Canada, or when compact Inglis washers and dryers became available here.
