Phil:

Sounds like you know what you're doing, so that's all right then.

I am much more careful with my Snowflake Blue than I would be with Spring Blossom Green or Butterfly Gold; those last two patterns are sitting about knee-deep in every thrift store in America. But not Snowflake Blue.

There are other Corelle patterns that are HTF, as well.

It made it home!

My RR2 just got here and has been cleaned. It's in nice shape having come from the original owner.

Phil,

It's has the flat tray.  I can see why they went to the later style tray.  The flat glass was a pain to handle.

Here you go with the interior pic. It's heavy. I'm not looking for the serial number without help!

Thanks for the picture!

The serial number if located between the door and the front leg on the early RR-2 models. It's easy to see if you move the microwave a bit on the counter as I did to take the picture...

Your glass tray doesn't seem to be clear. Is it textured? If I remember well, John's glass tray is clear?

Also, is there a buzzer on-off switch under the control panel? My RR-2 lacks a buzzer and a switch and I think John and Cory's RR-2 microwaves also lack them but some do have one like Jon's RR-2.

Travis - great looking RR-2. You just had it shipped and it arrived intact? Can I ask who you used to ship it?

It looks like your interior light is in the center rear!? If so, that's where it should have remained, imho. Oh well, small matter to most.

Phil

Phil,

I know a shipper that was fairly close to the seller. He picked this up and brought it to me. It was only mildly dirty when it landed on my counter. I can't wait to smell the cooking through the door.
