I picked up one of these gas models for FREE way back in 1981, when I was just starting out fixing and selling. It was old Then. Now its really more of a miracle that one would still exist and be in use.
The thing was so old that it only had a 2 prong plug. Because it's gas it was all discolored and sooted up, as happens with gas appliances. When I plugged it in it shorted out and blew the breaker. Where the cord came out the back it was frayed and the copper was showing and touching the cabinet.
That stinky, burnt dryer went into metal scrap.
Had I only knew that 25+ years later there would be a market for it I would have held onto it. Why didn't someone tell me? LOL
