Hey all, a week ago I bought my first washer I’ve ever bought for myself, which was a more basic style 90s Whirlpool direct drive, as posted a few days ago in here.

I bought the set for a very good price from a refurbished appliance store, once I bought them and installed them I noticed the washer had a pretty good leak. I was so pissed off, but it was MY fault for not testing it before I left with it which is something I always do, but this time I was in a time rush and wrongly trusted it would be fine, but to hell I was wrong unfortunately. I removed the cabinet and found the leak was coming from the bottom left of the outer plastic tub, there was a crack at the bottom. So since I did have a warranty for these machines I called them to let them know and they told me they’d replace it, so yesterday I finally received my replacement and I’m in love.

This washer works exactly like new, runs perfectly. absolutely love it, it’s obviously the same washer as I bought before but this one has way more options and settings, a higher model than the more basic 6 cycle I had previously. I need to get a fabric softener dispenser for this washer as well, just don’t wanna get an overpriced one on eBay and whatnot.

Just figured I’d update. And yes it got a very good cleaning inside and out.

Nice set and you'll enjoy the warm/warm selection that's almost nonexistent these days.

Be on the lookout for a spare timer on Ebay. Whirlpool has obsoleted most of their pre 2000 washer timers. Just about everything else is easily obtainable though.

Yogitunes...

Yes it’s a true warm rinse and the spray rinse is warm as well I believe. I love both of them they work just like new, they were well taken care of machines and only will be used a few times a week.

I’ll have to keep an eye out for that, thanks for the tip that’s a good one if I’m going to keep this machine and I don’t ever plan on getting rid of these whirlpools ever. I am they're final owner lol.
