I signed up some time ago and then went away for a long time so my username must have got deleted or something! So I'm back again.

I'm interested in lots of mechanical things, especially house related stuff so home appliances falls in that category for me, I like lurking and reading everything I can so that's what I'll be doing and perhaps chiming in every once in awhile too.
I'm also a member on Vacuumland.
Not sure what forum I was supposed to post intro's (or re intro's in my case hahaha) in so mine goes into this one. hahaha

Jonathan

Jonathan I see you don't give any information related with your profile! Why is that? Are you afraid someone here might use it wrongly? We are a group of Bona Fide people and we usually fill in our profile to know each other better. But talking to you is like talking to an anonymous person. I'm talking for myself, not for the rest of the club people. I'm sorry I don't feel comfortable talking under your conditions. Gus

I have to admit that is is nice to at least have somethings in your profile. It helps you also if something your looking for folks

can help you find it.I love disposer's,dishwasher's,washer's,fans and I am also a One-legged gay guy...

Wes I like your sincerity! On one way you mention your handicap (everybody has something, I've been a diabetic for 21 years) and on the other way your're one more of the group, (nice). Hugs Gus

I didn't get to that yet! I'll be filling it out shortly. If your a member on Vacland you can check out my profile there in the mean time.

Hours after I wrote my first answer here I found out your profile there, so it's OK with me. I might be too fast to express my opinion. I think I should say I'm sorry to you. Gus

Wes

I have to agree with you about that LOL. The people on Vacland are an interesting breed to say the least. I can only imagine what crossing paths with one of them in real life might be like... LOL

Gus: I take no offense to your skepticism. No apologies needed. I have a tendency to do the same with people, except without words! It's hilarious how many people I've scared away just by my presence or something, usually they are up to something anyway!

That's Great, But.....

"I can tell you exactly what happened, we fell in love and are living happily every after. :-)"

There are some extraordinarily fine and nice people on VL - I should know, some have helped me resolve vac problems and parts issues more times than I care to count.

But there is a contingent that can make you wish you'd never gotten yourself a 33.6 kpbs modem and AOL and ever logged on to the Internet....

That can be said about any internet forum-based or comment-based community or for that matter any real life analog community as well.

Robert:

It's not that way here, not since you made some highly effective changes to the site. This has become one of the best sites I visit in that regard. I can't remember the last time I saw a disagreement become a long-running feud here on AW.org. They occur once in a while, but they're resolved and people move on.

I completely agree with Martin, GOOD FOR YOU TWO, that's the ideal of most gay people. To find ''la media naranja'' (just in case: find your exactly other half) Hugs to all fellow guys here. Gus
