New member here. Will post more later, but for now, looking for brochures on 1957 and 1967 Frigidaire washers. Anybody out there got something like that scanned and willing to post it so I can see which models we had when I was a kid?

I really like this site. Thanks for letting me in.

Damn, Mark

Looks like you have some pretty nice machines there. That '65 Roller-matic really does SHINE! It appears you've taken VERY good care of them.

I will tell you, the '57 we had had two silver "control towers" on the machine, and not just one, so I have a feeling it was the higher end model. As far as our '67, "Custom Deluxe" comes to mind. If someone has that brochure with all the washers on it, I could pick it out immediately.

Just curious, but when was the last time you used each of your machines? I'll bet you've got the CLEANEST clothes, towels and sheets in Festus, thanks to them!

OOOPS!! I made a mistake...

I know that the timer and all on the washer was known as the "control tower". What I'm talking about is the water level selector and the water temp. selector (I think that's what they were for). Also, I remember something that looked like a little tiny tiny silver "seat"...what was that for?

Hey DB, The '60 i got from a buddy here in St. Louis, the '65 was my grandmothers and the 1-18's I got from another member here on AW.org. I use all three of these machines every week for laundry. I also have an '80s Whirlpool Imperial 70 that has been set aside so i can use these machines exclusively.
