Help my Frgidare 1-18 washer

This has been one of those days were everything is not going so good.I was moving my washer and unscrewed the water hose in the

back and it broke the plastic thing right off..Is this a huge problem or will another washer cold and hot valve work.

I just turned it at first with my hand and it would not turn then I used some pliers and barley turned it and snap right off...

Any advice out there guys...

You just need a new inlet valve, they are still easily available, this may be a blessing as you really should replace valves this old if you are actually going to use the machine much.

Thanks John I have been kinda freaked out about it...You have a point though that valve broke way to easy it could have blown

because I have very high water pressure at my house.
