Love the Dormeyers - they are my favorite vintage mixer brand. Is the chrome HB a Model K??
Is that a GE Automatic Vacuum pot off to the right on that photo?? THAT is a coffeemaker I have been dying to find, too (although I do have the automatic 'stove' with an orignal cord!).
Great stuff Hans! Love it all! What is taking the place of the 806 Maytag? Great dryer, and a clothespin bag like every good laundry room should have!!
Does the Kenmore range have that piece of glass or whatever that goes over the oven opening when the door is open? I saw that once at a sale; I assume it's to keep the heat in while you're "peeking"
Also, I see a corner of a Toastmaster toaster left of the Kenmore...is that a self lowering unit? I have a "Sovereign" model similar to that, but I don't see the handle on yours.
The H.B. is a K, yes that is a G.E. vacuum coffee maker, looks good but wont heat on hi,just keep warm, ive not got around to fixing it, it is the only thing on those shelves that does not work.
great collection and sweet guys to boot, known Hans for years. couldnt have asked for a better host, plus my visit yieled a 1963 Aqua frigidaire refrigerator
The wider body Triple Whip from the late 50's is really powerful. The concept of three beaters is fun but I wonder why they didn't make the bowl a tidge smaller to fit the edge of the beater. The Dormeyers with the 10 speed non governor control motors are a hoot to use. They alternately bog and race plastering the user with the fly by. My favorite Dormeyer is a 4000 I think. It leans off at an angle and has a great big plastic band that circles the body to control the speeds. It is governor controlled, quite civilized and has a nifty red trigger under the handle to release the beaters. The stand acts almost like a cradle to hold the mixer and has a big black button to release the motor. I am really impressed with all the boxes. It triples the value. My grandma had a 40 inch double oven verson of your Kenmore. What a collection. I'm envious Dynaflow has seen it in person. Do have a mixer of choice for a daily driver?
Quite a collection you have there. I remember a friend of mine having a GE (think) electric range that had push buttons but the buttons on the top of the the panel instead of the front this was in the early 70's. Great mixers too by the way, a person could start a bakery will all those mixers.
Wow Hans that is some collection!!! Love all the mixers and that Kenmore range is beautiful!!! It's so fun to look at the pictures over and over as you see something new every time you do. Can't wait to see it in person sometime!! Thanks so much for sharing. Terry
Just went back and looked at the pictures again, Rick are you talking about the little two handled covered pan on the first picture of the Kenmore Range? Hans is that Salad Master cookware?
