Right you are Austin! You have a very sharp eye!

That testimony I gave was about a year ago or so to the company from whom I bought my Pakistani spinner. Laundry Alternatives of Vermont. What is this company in here in Houston doing with it?
If you check Laundry Alternatives website, this model spinner has replaced the one I own, which is still working by the way.
I suspect that this is from someone who bought the spinner and was dissatisfied with it. But to use my testimony!

I sent the seller this message:

I noticed in your auction that you are using my testimony for the clothing spinner. This was meant to be a communication only to the Laundry Alternative Company of Vermont.
May I ask that you remove my testimony from your auction? That testimony applies to a different model of spinner than you are offering, hence it does not apply. Thanks!

At least the seller in this case was nice about it. Here is their response to my request:

I'm sorry and apologize cause I wasn't aware of that Sir! I will remove it immediatly when I'm home in the afternoon! I apologize again and wish yoou a good day Sir!

No, spin driers were never popular for home laundry in the United States. Laundromats and commercial laundries used them and some still do; Bock amoung other brands were fairly common until liablity issues forced a change.

With relative cheap natural resources, vast homes (compared to many places in Europe/UK, and cheap electric power, many American housewives weren't interested in spinning laundry "dry" as they either dried them in a dryer or hung them out on the line.

Seeing as the Laundry Alternative (the same company that sold my Pakistani Spinner) has replaced the Pakistani Spinner with this model.
I wonder if there is an improvment in the quality? This one hold more than the model I have, and it's cheaper too! I think I paid about $119.00 for mine.
We still use ours frequently. I think the clothes that are spun in it come out softer without the use of fabric softner. But the noises it makes! Oy Vey!

bacon anyone?

My pakistani jobbie self-destructed with a rather loud and well-announced *BANG* My co-inhabitant thought I had been killed (no joke)!

Did not bother to persue a warranty.

Hmmmm, I'm not sure if I was cooking pork that day.
