Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Speaking again about the ignis...
The only projectual flaw that I personally think that machine got is the fact that the control panel so the timer (which is very delicate itself being an Holtzer with a long series of lamellar contacts that operates the various washing selections) is not insulated from the body. The only thing separating it is a plastic thin sheet and steam during boilwashes would come up and oxidize the timer, this in fact was enough for early Ignis machines like those to be labelled as "delicate timer machines" and is no secret that machines belonged to ladies that often used to boil didn't last as much before developing timer issues.
Beside trying my best to ensure a better and proper insulation to mine with a plexiglass sheet I am also used to spray the timer with WD40 to protect it, and making sure not to "wet" the little timer circuit elements that gets extremely hot during operation posing a risk of fire🔥🔥🔥

AEG Lavamat / Clara

Hi Freddy great to see you back, love the Ignis and whats not to like about a H-Axis washing machine., do you still use the Servis MK2 Supertwin ??

The Clara looks very impressive, we managed to find the electric sink version comprising the dishwasher built in under the sink drainer and later the washing machine and tumble dryer along with a washer dryer a little newer !!

Hello Mike!
Well I am an agitator-preferred guy myself but the Ignis is my favorite about h axis machine ever!
Wow so beautiful the electric sink with the favorit underneath!!!
I actually was about to get a favorit dishwasher Stainless for free from Facebook Marketplace but they stole it under my nose.
So the one next to the sink is the dryer right? Lavatherm? I don't see the drawer so must be the dryer.

Could kindly ask if you have some more pictures of the dryer inside?

For what concern the Servis unfortunately needs urgent transplant, the spinner seal and Bearing got destroyed totally, bearing balls everywhere!!! And I actually still have to take it apart to see what can be done and I am afraid I will not find parts for it.
The washing side works just like a charm.
Speaking about twin tub I recently got another twin tub, a Riber made in Turin.
Unfortunately also got problems with the spinner,a small leak that occurs if I spin bulky stuff or I attempt to rinse in it, I can only do brief spins of few items at a time or I get water going to the motor tripping circuit breakers.
I will post pics and I will try to load some videos on my YouTube.
Anyways the riber is garbage compared to the servis, got a very weak agitation and only does well when you load it with few items.
It does also have a very weak element that takes forever to heat the water.

Hi. Thanks.

Yes I still do have It, though the beauty had her spinner bearings that exploded consequently damaging the seal also.

I was using it and all of a sudden there was a loud noise, water coming down along with bearing balls all over and circuit breaker breaking due to water going over the motor.

I need to check it, in fact I was about to ask help here one of these days

Austin, thank you so much!

I need to go get it at my old place but with the lockdown it may be more difficult,  so I wanted to take the truck the next time I go grocery shopping and  stop by at my old place picking it up.

I can lift it in the trunk myself....

I miss so much twin tubbing.

I got another twin tub, the Riber but I do not really like it at all.

I miss the Servis.
