Ok, decided to go out and get a vintage Hi-Fi, and could use some help.
As some may remember, I posted pics of my parent's late 50s Curtis-Mathes Stereophonic Music Center a while back. I want to get something different than theirs, but along the same line.
I want to get the vintage that has tubes, but is also new enough to have the external "tape" connections and tape setting on the functions knob. This will allow CD hookup and playback. Importantly, I want one with a Voice of Music changer, based on a suggestion from another fellow on here.
I know that Magnavox made a ton of "consoles", but I can't tell if they are VOM changers. I also don't know which ones sound great, or what else to look for.
Suggestions?
Thanks!
