Had to end up going and shelling out for another memory card reader. At least pictures can happen. Here is a picture of the Maytags, as they are, waiting to be cleaned up, and if I can upload more than one picture, there'll be a picture of the "offending" Whirlpools.

Your Whirlpool washer looks like a duplicate of the one my friends Justin & Greg have. I noticed recently theirs has the "Imperial Series" designation. They had a repair on it a few months ago, developed a squeal during spin.

The Maytag dryer is the same model I just replaced, after 15 yrs of trouble free drying. I replaced it with a new Maytag, supposed to be a "real" one, assembled in Newton, but I am beginning to have my doubts...the first one delivered had a drum that was out of round and hit the back of the dryer. However, the local dealer had no problem replacing the dryer with a new one. I almost wish I had shelled out the 200.00 to fix the old one. Keep the old ones going!!!!!!!
