Hello and welcome! Good luck with your new interest and hobby, it's fun and there's tons of info here. Take some time to work your way through the various forums here, and learn the Searchilator. You can find tons of pictures and info on many old style washers, dryers, dishwashers, and stoves.

 

I see you listed Frigidaire 1-18's as one of your favorites. Me too. They aren't hard to find but you will need patience. And they are fun to watch and loud and wash well.

 

Welcome, and start searching all through this site, tons of information.

Its always good to see new members joining the forum!

 

Like others, I recommend you search the topics that you are interested in learning about. There is just so much to learn on this forum, and I've often learned about things that you never realized would be so interesting and important the laundry and dish-washing.

 

As I recently had my membership expire and subsequently renewed it, I must comment that our esteemed webmaster Robert (Username 'Unimatic1140') has recently removed the "Super Searchilator" for non-members. (At least the links to it on the Forum pages. Not sure if you can access with the address for it).

But there is a Google search function here, but I haven't tested that as I was "Born and Raised" here on the Searchilator. I would recommend Upgrading your membership if you plan on staying for any length of time. It really is worth the effort

 

 
 
Welcome aboard, Cody! You'll find your washer pretty darn quick, I am sure! You've also found a pool of experts and folks who've 'learned the hard way' about repairs and other issues who'll be more than pleased to help you out.

There's certainly lots on here to keep anyone remotely interested in washing and appliances in general happy....I'm sure you could read for months! And then there are the seemingly endless debates about products, preferences and 'how-to'....

All the opinions will come tumbling out at times. Sometimes a tad heated but mostly friendly with folks accepting that one way isn't always the only way.
