Welcome Spats! I love watching the videos too, and have always been intrigued by the "space age" designs of mid-century appliances and household products. Do you have any U-matic 3/4 inch VCR's in your collection (haven't watched your videos yet) I love watching the threading mechanisms on those things. They have a ring that sits around the head drum. When you press play, the ring rotates, and the guide posts pull the tape out the cartridge and wrap it almost completely around the head! Keep an eye out on E-bay for Sony "VO" series decks!

Those things remind me of elementary school. Those big blue JVC machines that top loaded. And the school had those typical grey Zenith color TVs with three buttons on top and the two tuner knobs.

We had our school picnics at Kennywood park...and sometimes Rainbow Gardens...what memories! After I graduated from Baldwin High School, my dad was transferred to Southern California.
