I know what you mean! Right now I feel like I am hearding cats with our two vintage washer and dryer pairs. So happy to be here! They need TLC once about every 5-7 years and then settle back in for the long haul. Owning things that were made to last saves a lot of time and money. At first, our neighbor friends didn't know what to do with us. Now they call our house "the museum" and bring out-of-town guests to visit, haha!
Welcome from central New Jersey! Many 1960s to early 1970s household items reside in my place too. Names like Zenith, Admiral, General Electric, Western Electric/Bell System all earn their place in my home by working properly and without complaint. The styling and design is far more appealing than the bland styling of new items today.
