"Ugly Duckings", Which are they?

Why don't you guys try and guess which three machines in my collection are my "Ugly Duckings". Ohhh I'm so naughty LOL.

Hi Buster Brown

The '47 GE
The ABC-O-Matic

and now it's tricky: either the Timeline Norge, or the '55 Pulsamatic

"Your answer please"

I'm going to go with the Timeline as the third Ugly Duckling

LOL LOL

1. Lift chrome arm on can opener,
2. Insert can under cutting blade,
3. Push down hard on chrome arm and can opener will start,
4. Once cutting blade has gone around the entire can, lift chrome arm to stop can opener
5. Pour contents of can into a turquoise pyrex bowl.
6. Enjoy your bowl of worms with a nice cola.

YEAH, BUT

didn't I get even one of them?

I'm changing the third answer after I looked at your photos. The 55 Pulsamatic stands alone with some rust on his right flank. Is he therefore an Ugly Duckling?

And can I give my worms back for a nice can of Franco American Spaghetti----mmmmm

thanks , do you know who you've got stuck in my head now

What with your bowl of worms and a nice cola .
And your precise surgical diction and tone..............

Hanibal Lector......I ate her liver with some fava beans and a nice Chianti

I'm laughing but amazed at the power of words to suggest such things as Dr. Lector talking to Clarice. "I have to go now Clarice, I'm having a friend for lunch."

Yesterday, Robert Vegomatic talked about seeing more of your dark side. How exciting.

How 'bout a clue, Buckeroo!!???

Does it have the same name as a snack, and a jet stream shooting up from the sump, and is very large and ungainly?

Here they are!

Now remember, everyone's opinon on what is pretty and what is shall we say "less than beautiful" is different, but here is what I think are my three least appealing machines (looks wise) in the basement. Granted looks are skin deep, I just adore every one of these machines as each one has more drama than the next!

Such a cool looking "space age" machine that Easy is Robert! Are you ever going to try to restore the console on that one? I remember the cool demo you made of that one.

BTW, I love the woodgrain on the Kelvinator, is that real?

*ducking and running* <:

Thanks Rick, probably not. The Easy is one of those machines that is really cool, but if something older and even more fun comes in (Apex, Launderall, etc.) it would be on of those machines I would find a home for to make room.

As real as a plastic press can produce :)

Calling that Kelvi "ugly" because it is "new"? Oy, I could give you such a klopf (sp)! For shame!
Oh Peter, Picture me holding my head in shame! Sorry but I'm simply more of a mid-century 40's and 50's style kinda boy. Our whole house is that way.

Shhhhh Jamie you are giving away all my secrets LOL.

Yes there is a GE Harmony in there for my partner Neal to use for the one or two loads of wash he might do a year when I am traveling for what ever reason.
