Just wondering if any of u fellas would happen to have any info on this dryer or happen to know the cu. sq. foot of this dryer drum and the measurements of the cabinet? Looks to be the size of the new style ge/ hotpoint dryers.

Here's the pic of the new style ge/ hotpoint dryers drum, which I'm sure u know. Look at the back of the drum where the heat comes out of the wholes and focus on the space between the heat plate and the actual drum. Looks about the same.

GE Dryer Designs

The older one you have is around 5 maybe 5.5 cubic feet in capacity the newer one you pictured is around 7 CF in size. If you used each of these dryers side by side with large loads for a while you would find that the newer one produces better results in terms of less wrinkling and they are much more gentle with clothing in terms of keeping temperatures lower.

All that said the older GE design is much more durable than what GE has been producing over the last 20 years, your best dryers either classic or new are still WP products and if you want new durable and simple Speed Queen is a great choice also.
