i am repairing my hobart um 4 and i need a new shaft seal
i called hobart boston and they said they did not carry
any parts anymore ,if there is anyone who as one , i beleive the # is 77107 i would pay for it thank you ,
e mail [email protected]

i don't think there are any left

i bought two last year for my kitchenaid collection and was told by hobart cinti. at that time that 2 were remaining in the country. this has been about a year ago, i assume that they have been sold by now.

good luck, perhaps someone here will have one they don't need or want.

actually i just contacted the columbus ohio

branch of hobart, they told me there were still a couple out there and i ordered 2 of them. they are going to get back to me in a few days. if i get them you can gladly buy one from me. i believe the price was $48.12 each. i will know more when i hear back.

i did not go thru the cinti office where i live as they were not very cooperative at tracking down parts last time i bought from them. in fact the guy was rude and abrupt and simply told me there were no more left. the columbus office is much more friendly.

i am in columbus a couple times a month so can probably have them in a week or so. hopefully.

you can e mail me direct on this.

thanks

Could someone order one of these for me?

I cant get these in Canada....

I am wondering if there is a member here willing to order and pick one up for me and ship it to me? I willing to pay for the shipping and handling costs too....

Please email me at [email protected]

Thank you

Bob

Please check in to this for me?

Great news if there are a couple of seals available!

Here in Canada I can't get a seal for the UM-4 from Hobart. I am wondering if there is a member here willing to pick one up for me? I am willing to pay for the shipping and handling charges.

My email is [email protected]

He doesn't need me!

Because we already chatted via email and I told him what to do to try and get a seal. For those of you who do actually have them, I know they are a strange looking seal, but if you could inquire at a local seal/ bearing house, they may be able to match it up for you and then there will be a ready supply. Having had a ready stock at hand when I used to fix these UM's on a daily basis, I never looked for another source. Since it is a straight forward seal and not incorporated into a drain impeller, it may be able to be locally sourced.

i tried to email you and i cant get my e mails to go thrue
i defenitly need the seal i am willing to pay a premium
and pay shipping for one can you e mail me at [email protected] thanks again gary

if i get them you can have it

at my cost. i'm definately not tryin to make a profit on any of my appliance related activities, i just wanted to grab them while they are still around.

and the idiot in cinti. at hobart was so rude the last 2 times i went in i decided to deal with columbus instead. i ordered 2 but if more are out there they will let me know. i should know in a week or less. the fool in cinti told me none were left, simply due that he was too lazy to check for me.

my e mail should be good, [email protected], i got an e mail from another member who is also looking for that seal. you are first on the list ofcourse.

them ,thanks again for doing this ,when i checked with hobart
boston i got the same go around they where more intersted in me buying a new machine instead of looking, for a seal gary , my e mail [email protected]
