That is exactly what our washer looked like. THE washer my parents bought because they wre tired of me playing in the Bendix. (Our model was NOT a Filter-Flo definitely).

We had the same fridge.

That fridge for some reason was the coldest fridge but never froze anything. (In the refridgerator section).

My goodness!  The washer might just be one of the first Filter-Flo models with that copper filter pan!

 

I hope some can save them!!

That is a 56 filter-flo, the very first one. Looks like the rubber gaskit is missing from the activator that holds the filter pan in place but there must be one of those around in the club somewhere.

I was thinking the fridge, which clearly pre-dates the laundry pair, was originally white.  The washer and dryer appear to be a different shade of pink, unless it's the camera, and having been identified as '56 models, it makes sense that they were pink from the factory, but I don't think the early Combination fridges came in anything but white.

 

I hope somebody can save these.  Not having a BIN on them could send the price soaring.

I may like refrigerators, but they LOVE me!

 

The Combination is probably a 1952 model - maybe '53 at the latest.  My '51 was the last without door shelves.  Someone spent some time (and money) spraying it in pink. They got the jambs and insides of the door lips.  It was also done quite some time ago - the typical rust along the bottom door frame is present.

the 1953 model had the handle on the freezer door you pulled up on and the fridge door had a handle you pulled down on to open them....PAT COFFEY
