Help Support :

All cleaned up an in place. Two loads with no drama today. Damper pads feel very good, but I will lube. Transmission oil... thats out of my wheel house. A a few more photos next to the stablemates...

The dispenser is original, and is disconnected and taped to high heaven. I'll pull it out and clean it up at some point. [this post was last edited: 1/18/2024-20:17]

I have this same machine in brown. Circa 1962 or 63. I know you'll enjoy it. I believe the official name is shaded coppertone but it looks more like milk chocolate to me.

This is a pretty one, such good shape.  Congratulations.

This was the first "vintage" washer (and dryer) I had, my brother had a friend selling the set for $20.  He told it me it was "blue" and this was what we picked up.  It was missing hinge balls and had a broken right panel glass.  I went to the Maytag distributor and got the balls and ordered the glass from Newton.  Most all parts were still available from Maytag in 1989, lol.

Best of luck with your new "blue" it looks great!
