Hi Everyone
In response to Barry's homemade washing detergent, I thought I would share this one with.
A few months ago a friend of mine told me about this recipe for homemade surface cleaner that was not only CHEAP, but all natural (well just about anyway). Being the lover of traditional store bought cleaners (and an ultimate consumer... sucked into anything new advertised LOL)... I was sceptical. Well I used it a few weeks ago when I was helping him clean one day, and I can say is (apart from me being wrong).. OMG it's fantastic. With the Eucalypt scent it is not offensive and it cleans stainless steel and glass without streaking.
Anyway, for those that would like to give a try, here it is (plus a Dishwasher Powder).
Enjoy
All Purpose Cleaning Solution
1 litre of Water
200ml Vinegar
40ml Detergent
40ml Eucalyptus Oil
2 Dessertspoons Washing Soda
Mix all ingredients together and it’s ready. Makes about 2 litres. Use 60ml in warm water to wash floors. Fill spray bottle and use to clean tables, benches, bathroom, windows and stainless steel.
Dishwashing Powder
1 cup Baking Soda
1 cup Lectric Soda
¼ cup Salt
¼ cup Citric Acid
A few drops of Tea-Tree Oil
Shake the ingredients in a sealed container. Use 2 tablespoons per load
