homemade biscuits

tried a recipe a friend gave me for homemade biscuits served them at Tgiving dinner
one comment i got was from a cousin these taste just like grandmas
recipe
2 1/2 cups self rising flour
1 stick of frozen butter grated
1 cup milk
add the butter to the flour stir till combined
add the milk
stir just until combined maybe 15 times
dough will be sticky
i sprinkled with more flour
pinch and rolled in my hands to make a smaller biscuit like grandma did
bake at 450 for 12 to to 15 mins till golden brown
sit down and enjoy

mmm sounds good! I'll have to try them with White Lily flour. My grandmother made the best biscuits ever. I asked her once how she did it and she just laughed saying, "it's nothing special, just a little dough!" but I never learned her recipe.
