Greetings Forum,
I stumbled upon this unit while cleaning my grandmother's basement. I can't bring myself to dispose of something that has such character- especially when there are communities of hobbyists that may find good use for it. I have no idea if it is worth anything- if not, I'll gladly donate it to whoever can come and get it.

First Model Hoover Brought Over From the UK/EU

Of twin tubs.

Looks exactly the same as many still seen today on the other side of the pond, except one dial (to control heat) is missing. This is because unlike their UK cousins, the American machines lacked a built in heater.

In each case these were the next models after the Hoover "tub" with attached wringer.

My Hoover parts and service manual covers this unit, IIRC.

Hi,

This clearly looks like an export from the UK, it would have started off with a white outer cabinet, and a grey trim round the top, same as what is around the spinner lid, and on the inside of the trim.
This is a 3334a which was also know as a Hoover 65, it was a low-value twin tub, but your one has no heater, so no "pulsator boiling action"
Hope it goes to good home.
Keith
