What I would give to have that Electra 17004. I remember that machine our neighbours had one when we were kids. Have you done a video of it in action yet, would love to see & hear it once again in action plus the spin cycles were so powerful. I think the spin bursts in the rinse sections were all done at the top spin speed. Can you please let me know if I am correct because it was such a long time ago.

The Collection Day

We were all touched that day, machines were collected on route to me, and few were collected from me, it was a very busy but fun day, the van full of Hoover machines and the Creda

We can all dream about a brand new Hoover electron but it will stay a dream I think.

I havent taken any Videos of the Computer control machines, I have such a back log of machines to repair and at some time film I do not know when i will get round to it.

Solvent Abuse

Well Lee having had my head in tub whilst treating it i know only too well effects of these chemicals, oh and dont forget if you want to go right over the edge the Hammerite paint will get you there.........who says drugs dont work!

On another high, the Constellation.........such a loveley machine to use and behold, i can understand your enthusiasm for them........good lad keep sniffing the solvents they help the day go by

The computer logics are a fantastic machine but if i am honest i prefer the 1100 computer control machine, there is alot of behind the scenes design in them that is not obvious this i appreciate

Good to see a Hoover 1100 thread again!

I have been quiet on the forums recently... been concentrating on getting my driving lessons etc done. PLease to say I have now passed and own an Astra H 2005. Plenty of room to put the washer in the boot and attend a meet some time!

Would stil like my trusty A3110 to be given the once over health check. No problems to report however.

Hoover 1100

Craig, be sure to save the fascia and timer and powder drawer / buttons etc what you can, At least machines can be made up of decent body shells in the future if you do. Not many of this particular model in that colour scheme exist if any amongst collectors!

It must be Hoover week. Only this morning have me and Paul bought a 1970's Hoover machine (Automatic) that no other collector has - we think! Its going thru the spa as its a right minger - would a Hoover be any other way????? LOL but should polish up nicely!

Silence from us two until its done. It deserves its own thread hehe.
